Is the robotaxi safe?

Yes. Shenzhen's autonomous vehicles have completed millions of kilometers of testing and are licensed by the city government. A safety operator may be present but will not touch the controls. The vehicles use LiDAR, cameras, and AI to navigate traffic safely.

Do I need to speak Chinese?

No. Your English-speaking guide handles everything — from hailing the robotaxi to ordering drone-delivered food. All flagship stores have English product descriptions.

Is this tour suitable for children?

Yes. Children can join the robotaxi experience when accompanied by an adult. Private Tour bookings use the age-based rates shown in the live calculator. Small Group bookings are CN¥375 per participant, with adults and children charged the same price.

The tour runs rain or shine. Most activities are indoors (tech flagships, Inno100). The robotaxi ride and drone delivery operate in all weather conditions.

How do I get to the meeting point?

The meeting point is at 3019 Houhaibin Road in Nanshan District, accessible via Houhai Metro Station (Line 2/11). Look for the guide holding a red La Roja sign.

Can I book for a large private party?

Yes. The live booking calculator shows the current online limit and exact party-size price. If your group is larger than that limit, contact us by email or WhatsApp for a custom private arrangement.

What time slots are available?

Private Tour departures are available daily at 10:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 4:00 PM. Scheduled Small Group departures are available daily at 10:30 AM and 2:30 PM from the same meeting point.

How does the Small Group capacity work?

Each guide leads a shared group of up to five guests. There is no fixed total booking limit for a departure: when more than five guests book the same time, La Roja Travel divides them into additional groups with different guides.

What EVs will I see on this tour?

The main EV stop is Xiaomi's flagship store on Haide 3rd Road in Nanshan — the 2F EV space displays the Xiaomi Yu7 with a full breakdown of body parts and components, as well as hyper engines from the SU7 Ultra and production cars you can inspect up close. Depending on schedule and availability, guests may also see nearby Chinese EV displays. Admission is included — no fee.
